Guacamole is made by using ripe avocados, chopped onions, chilies, fresh tomatoes, lime juice and salt and combining all these ingredients together. All these ingredients in guacamole makes it one of the most tasty dips. This tasty salsa or dip is eaten with tacos or fries and is a highly popular snack all over the world. The main ingredient of a traditional guacamole is of course avocados, which must be ripe to make the perfect guacamole. Avocado was originally found in Mexico, South and Central America and it featured extensively in their cuisine. It is a pear shaped fruit with a rough outer peel and it has a soft almost buttery texture. Its flesh is light green in color and at the center there is an egg shaped seed which is called the pit and is inedible. This type of monounsaturated fat is also found in olive oil, argan oil and some other types of nuts.
