Hair loss may be triggered by different causes, like, nutritional deficiency, hereditary factors, illness, hormonal imbalances, shock, etc. Again, some loss of hair diseases, like, alopecia also causes hair to fall but it may also be caused due to stress and environmental causes of hair loss. So, today our topic of discussion will be stress-related hair loss. Stress and health are interrelated and hair loss is one of the side effects of excessive stress. When there is too much stress, it results in the weakening of the hair follicles and the aftermath is that it stops hair production.

The amount of hair which is lost due to trauma can be quite alarming and at times can go up to four thousand per day.

Using natural hair strengthening products for hair care, like, coconut oil, mustard oil and castor oil will help in restoring your hair. Mix the above ingredients in equal quantities. Apply the mixture on scalp and leave it overnight and shampoo in the morning. It is quite an effective medicine which if done at least once a week is found to be good for hair loss treatment. After the initial stress, your body should be able to recover the normal hair growth within six months to a year. In such a situation, understand that your hair will grow back as it is a short-term reaction to a traumatic event. No use of taking additional stress that your hair is falling. In addition, it is always better to take a doctor's advice in such cases when you have loss of hair because of stress. While taking the case history, your doctor will ask questions on your diet, any medicines that you may be taking due to some other illness or if you suffered from any maladies recently and so on and in case of female hair loss, menstrual cycle, pregnancies and menopause will come into the picture. He or she may suggest a blood test along with a biopsy and other physical exams to look for the causes of hair loss. Treatments are available depending on the type of hair loss. In addition, meditation will be of great help in minimizing the problem. Try to meditate for fifteen minutes to one hour everyday. But you should do it in a clean and quiet environment.
