Due to the stir caused by this car in recent times, a US automobile company has declared that it is going to come up with their own air powered car in America in the late 2010. It has also finalized a mutual partnership with an automobile company in Luxembourg which was the pioneer in air car technology. Car manufacturing plants have already been started assembling cars, they hope to come out with 10,000 such cars each year. The American company has also given its detailed attention to the price of the car. They are pricing it at a very economical range of $17,800. This American car would be six seater, 75 hp power and can travel up to 1000 miles with just a tiny fill of air.
The French engineers have also started the process of making the first French air car which is expected to hit the roads of France soon. Automobile engineers in France have designed a less consuming and less polluting engine that runs on compressed air technology. It's a zero emission vehicle, with an engine that is safe, quiet, and has a speed of 110 km/hr. Air car was a concept that was very popular in Europe but due to some safety and efficiency reasons they were discontinued. But their French counterparts have undergone some stringent checks, so there is hope that we can see some air cars zooming on French roads soon.

- The air refueling station will probably be powered by a source of electricity. The production of that electricity may or may not pollute the environment. If the electricity is produced by coal then it is bound to emit harmful gases. While if nuclear energy is used there is no emission of any harmful gas.
- If you are using this car for long distances, you might get stuck in the middle of the road as there would not be many air refueling stations around the road.
- If you are in a car accident, compressed air tanks can prove dangerous to your life. To avoid such kind of dangers, the air tanks are made of carbon fiber which crack and do not explode. This cracking effect could cause the compressed air to leak and you could face a rocket like speed in your car for some time which can lead to a worse crash.
