What is a PUK Code?

Accordingly, you will need to get in touch with the company and obtain a PUK code, which is also known as the Personal Unblocking Code or PIN unblocking code or the Pin Unblock Key. Now, a safety filter is installed in this procedure, as the company makes a background check before giving you the PUK. Background check ensures that the cell phone and PUK code does not fall in the wrong hands. There are however, some companies that have a default PUK code.
PUK Code for LG Xenon
There is no default code for LG Xenon, as every connection has a code that is unique and the best way to retrieve such a code is to log on to the website of the service provider. In case of LG Xenon, the major service providers are At&T and Bell. The websites of these service providers are quite resourceful in providing the PUK code. The best option that one can use is logging on to the myWireless account on the AT&T website. If this does not work then you will have to call 1-800-331-0500, customer care line. In most cases, the user can get the PUK code by logging on to a My Bell account. It must be noted that the PUK code can be entered only 10 times. It means that a PUK code that is wrongly entered 10 times, deactivates the SIM card permanently and you will have to get a new one.
The procedure that can be used to source the PUK code, is relatively simple. All you need to do is go to the service providers/manufacturer's website and log in to your personal account. Then you can request for the PUK code. Alternatively, you can call the helpline of the company to get the code.
