How to Get Cheap Stuff Online
Online shopping has many advantages. Firstly, you can compare a variety of products in terms of features and prices before selecting the one you want to buy. Secondly, you do not need to physically go and get the product as the same is delivered at your doorstep. And the most important benefit - you get the products much cheaper than what you would get at retail stores! You do not need to pay the mrp of products and can get some really good discounts, provided you know the ways to get cheap stuff. Scroll down to know where to do Internet shopping from to get good discounted deals.
eBay
Whether you want to buy the latest gadgets or jewelry or clothes or household stuff or anything you can think of under the sun, eBay is a one stop shop for all these things. Simply log onto the website and click on the categories from which you want to buy things. You will find options galore and that too at reasonable prices for whatever you need to buy on this online auction site!
Woot
This website is very peculiar in the sense that it sells only one product per day. If you go to their home page, you will find this product advertised. If it mentions "I want one", it means that the product is still available. However, if the advertisement shows "sold out", it means that you have missed the chance of a good deal! Every day at 11.59 pm i.e. midnight, the product to be sold is changed. Selling is done on first come first serve basis till the stocks last or till it is midnight, whichever comes first. So, you have to check for the deal as soon as possible, on a daily basis. Then there is a surprise "woot-off" in which several product deals are offered by the woot website after the product of the day sells out. Woot-off lasts for anywhere between one to three days and is offered unannounced by this website, twice or thrice a month!
TodaysDOD
On the homepage, you will find a number of deals taken from the various deal sites. The duration for which the deals are available is also clearly mentioned on top of each of them. You can get good deals for everything right from sports equipment to gadgets to clothes to shampoos to wine!
Amazon
Amazon is a great place to shop for books, movies, games, electronics, clothing and home improvement stuff. The rates offered by Amazon are pretty competitive, making it one of the most preferred website around the world for discount shopping.
Gutenberg
For book lovers, Gutenberg website which offers close to thirty thousand absolutely free e-books is god send! Most of these books are, however, classics by authors like Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Mark Twain, etc. All these books do not have a copyright and hence, are available for free on this website.
Pacific Geek
As the name suggests, they offer anything and everything related to electronics and gadgets. So to buy cameras, cell phones, batteries, computer systems, consumer electronics, routers, switches, software, television cards, etc. the pacific geek website is the place! The best part about this website is their "deal of the day" offer in which they sell a particular product at a very low price. You can find this offer everyday on their home page, when you log onto their website.
Cheapstuff
They offer some really cool deals for electronics, video games, jewelry, gadgets, home improvement items, baby-care products, personal care products, auto parts etc.
One last tip before I sign off - make sure that you know the terms before you buy anything from any of these websites. Happy shopping!
