Back to School Fashion

Getting back to school for many is a whole load of fun. A new look with the latest fashion trends, has always made getting back to school a fun affair! Although it simply meant more classes and homework, getting back to school was worth looking forward to thinking about all the new looks one could create! Ah! I remember hours spent trying out different styles to create a sensation. Isn't it better to create a trend rather than follow one? That is what I always believed in therefore, getting back to school was really a fun filled event!

So, are you also looking out to create a sensation? Or are you simply running out of ideas? Well, check out some of the looks I have compiled and use them as a guide to be a trendsetter at school.

New Looks for Going Back to School

The Grunge Look
Grunge music has always been popular which has given rise to the grunge look. This was particularly popular in the early 1990s. You can also aim for the grunge look to be the center of attention. The grunge look is about long, straight hair, sneakers in zany colors such as red or indigo, flannel shirts, checkered trousers, etc. Tops with frayed edges, sweatshirt vests, shorts, hooded T-shirts are all a part of the grunge look. Girls need to highlight their eyes with black eye liner and can also go in for the smoky-eyes look.

The Layered Look
The layered look can be planned well if you shop for the right options beforehand. Shrugs and trendy vests are an ideal option for the layered look. Shrugs are small-sized jackets that can be worn over vests. A very neat idea would be to wear a short sleeved T-shirt over a long sleeved Tee. A long sleeved shirt can also work well. Girls can wear strapped tops over short sleeved T-shirts in contrasting colors. Leggings can be worn with short skirts. Team ankle length boots with the same.

The Gypsy Look
This list can never be complete without the mention of the gypsy look. One would need to create volume for such a style. This look is a personal favorite of mine that involves loads of colors. Gypsy skirts are extremely haute and such flowing long skirts look great with plain peasant tops. This is an ideal option for girls wanting the pretty and dainty look. The gypsy look would not be complete without long dangling earring and chunky necklaces. Flea markets are the best option to lay your hands on such stuff.

The Hippy Look
This look was popular in the 1960s but hey! Who says you can't bring it back! The hippy look is rather colorful and very appealing and you would surely be setting a trend in college. Bring out those zany, flowered wraparounds and combine them with racer backs. Guys can opt for batik or tie and dye shirts. Headscarves, long necklaces, bandannas, strapped and flat footwear and flowers around the neck are all the right items needed for the hippy look.

Your new look can be as varied as possible! All you need is some creativity to use all your clothing items in the closet. Create new looks with loads of accessories to add more fun to boring days at school. I am sure you would truly rock your campus and get many admirers...(Don't say I did not warn you!)
