  • Now pour some water on the floor and allow the water to stay for 5 or 10 minutes and then scrub the whole floor with a scrubber in order to remove the wax. Scrub well so that there are no traces of wax sticking on to the floor. If there are some stubborn stains, then you can use salt to remove it from that spot. Just sprinkle on some salt and scrub well and the wax will come off easily.
  • Next thing that you have to do is wipe the entire floor clean with the solution that you have had made previously. Wipe well so that all the wax has been removed.
  • If you find out during floor cleaning that the floor has a really thick layer of wax, then mix 4 quarts of ammonia in water, pour it on the floor and let it stay for sometime.
