Changing books into movies is one of the most common things these days that media arts is doing as per the public demand. People have started liking this idea of watching the movie which is based on a particular book they have already read before. They love to compare it, and always wait for some climax scene to take place so that they can compare their visual imagination with that particular scene in the movie. Into The Wild
This is a true story, and one of the books by Jon Krakauer that have been made into a movie with the same name 'Into The Wild', directed by Sean Penn. The book begins with the discovery of McCandless's body inside an abandoned bus in Alaska and retraces his travels during the two years after college graduation. However, the film adaptation of the same name emphasizes, and in some cases exaggerates personal relationships that McCandless experienced, including his parents domestic conflicts and his own interaction with a 16 year old girl he encountered in his travels.

Alice In Wonderland
This is a novel written by an English author called Charles Lutwidge Dodgson in the year 1865. The story starts like this. There is a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole which takes her to some fantasy world, where there are some uncommon creatures living, and the way she deals and communicates with them until she realizes that it was just a dream. However, there are two movies based on the same title name. One was released in the year 1999, directed by Nick Willing, and the other was released in the year 2010, directed by Tim Burton, and Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter.

Twilight
This is a series of 4 novels based on the romance of a 104 year old vampire named Edward Cullen with a teenage girl Bella, and is written by an American author Stephenie Meyer. The movie is directed by David Slade, and three parts have already been released.

Kite Runner
This is a novel published in the year 2003 by a fresh author called Khaled Hosseini, and has been adapted into a film of the same name by Marc Forster. This novel tells the story of a young boy called Amir from the district of Kabul.

The Lord Of The Rings
It is an epic novel written by an Oxford University professor J.R.R. Tolkien. The publisher decided to publish The Lord Of the Rings book in the year 1954 as three volumes containing a total of 6 books. It has been translated into various languages. Till date there have been three parts which have released starting with The Fellowship Of The Ring directed by Peter Jackson.

Jurassic Park
This is a science fiction novel written by Michael Crichton in the year 1990. It explains the collapse of an amusement park which leads to genetically recreated dinosaurs. Steven Spielberg is the director of the movie called Jurassic Park which is based on the same book, and also has a sequel which is based on another book by Michael Crichton called The Lost World.

The Basketball Diaries
This is a book which is written by author and a musician Jim Carroll. There were some edited collection of diaries he kept between the ages of twelve and sixteen, which covered all the various aspects and happenings in his life, such as sexual experiences, basketball career during his high school days, and especially his addiction to drugs and heroin. There is a movie made from the same book with the same name, directed by Scott Kalvert, and Leonardo DiCaprio as Jim Carroll.

Trainspotting
This is a British movie which was released in the year 1996 directed by Danny Boyle, and is based on the novel with the same name written by Irvine Welsh. This movie is also somewhat similar to The Basketball Diaries, as the movie is based on a group of heroin addicts.

A Beautiful Mind
This is a book which was released in the year 1998 by Sylvia Nasar, and in the year 2001, there was an American film released with the same name and story, directed by Ron Howard, which went on to win an Oscar. The film stars Russell Crowe along with Jennifer Connelly.
