Of course, you want your party to be a success and the first thing people look for in a party is what the menu is. This is where your foods will be judged and it will also determine how long people will stick around for. Food is always the focal point of any type of party; don't ever forget that. In order for you to hit a home run (in the matters of serving your guests), try to come up with various ideas on appetizers that you've never tried before and surprise your guests. Here are some recipes you can make for your next party.

Tomato Guacamole Dip
Tomato Guacamole Dip w/Tortilla Chips

Ingredients
3 tablespoons sour cream
2 medium avocados
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 small tomato
teaspoon salt
teaspoon minced garlic
Tortilla chips

Directions
This is, according to me because I love guacamole, one of the best foods for a party. To make this dip, first of all, peel the avocados and remove the seeds from the tomato. Chop both properly and keep in different bowls. Mash the avocados with a fork and add fresh lime juice. Mix in chopped tomato, salt, garlic, and sour cream as well. Stir thoroughly, cover the bowl, and keep in refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving with tortilla chips.

Cherry Tomatoes Dip
Cherry Tomatoes w/Margarita Salt Dip

Ingredients

4 cups cherry tomatoes
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 lb beefsteak tomatoes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 red onion, chopped
cider vinegar
white tequila
cup lemon juice
plain vodka
Salt and black pepper, for taste

Directions
The best part about serving this recipe is that you can prepare them beforehand. You can cut down on the preparation time on the day of the party and make the next party finger foods from our list. To make these delectable cherry tomatoes with margarita salt dip, use wooden skewers to puncture at least 5 holes in all the cherry tomatoes; place in a nonreactive bowl. Chop the beefsteak tomatoes and put in a bowl. Add onion, salt and black pepper in it. Stir everything properly, let it sit for 10 minutes, strain and save the liquid from the bowl (throw away the tomatoes and onion, we only required the liquid). In the same bowl, take zest of 2 lemons and pour lemon juice over it. Add rest of the ingredients and mix properly. Put a cover on the bowl and refrigerator for about 1 hour. Serve these cherry tomatoes dipped in the salty dip with toothpicks.

Chicken Sandwiches
Chicken Sandwiches w/Chutney

Ingredients

16 slices very thin white bread
4 tablespoons parsley, chopped
4 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons finely diced red onion
3 tablespoons mango-ginger chutney
1 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon lemon juice
cup finely diced celery
cup mayonnaise
Salt and black pepper, for taste

Directions
This is our third scrumptious party foods to make and is a favorite of many. In a pot of boiling salted water, place chicken breasts and simmer for about 15 - 20 minutes. Once cooked, drain it out and keep it aside to cool down. Slice and finely chop the cooked chicken breasts; sprinkle salt and black pepper as per your taste. Place the chopped chicken in a bowl and add celery, parsley, walnuts, and onion as well. In a different bowl, mix mayonnaise, chutney, and lemon juice together. Now pour this mixture in the chicken. Do a quick taste test. Trim the sides of all 16 slices of bread, and on 8 slices of bread, spread cup chicken, and press to make it even. Apply butter on the other 8 slices of bread and place on top. Arrange the sandwiches on a platter, cover it, and refrigerator till you have to serve them.
Make sure that you keep an eye on the drinks and non-alcoholic beverages being served at the party as well. You don't want to serve fancy appetizers and then have your guests be served with not-so-complimenting drinks, and vice versa. When you have a brilliant menu, with delicious finger foods for your guests, it is going be a win-win recipe!
