As far as silk scarves are concerned, they are just awesome. What is the best part about these scarves is that they need not be worn around the neck, but many more places beyond that. A great scarf tying tip is to use a silk scarf in a style resembling 1950s. For such a look, just roll the scarf lengthwise or even diagonal and tie it around your neck. To make it multipurpose, the scarf can double up either as a bracelet or a headband.
2
Want to save your hair from the rough weather? Relax! Scarves are there to your rescue. Wear a short, thin scarf around your ponytail for a stylish and chic look. Drape the scarf around the pony and tie the knot underneath. If you do it properly, the ends will hang down on your neck. This will look great as well as save your hair from pollution and weather changes.

Ouch... it is winter and it is biting cold. You are all set to go out but there is something amiss. A nice woolen scarf to keep you warm. Apart from the conventional way of tying the scarf around your neck, you can lay the scarf over your head and wrap the lose ends around your neck.

There are a number of options for men as well. The most stylish way for a guy to tie a scarf is to have it tied in a Parisian knot. Team your scarf with a dazzling blazer by draping the scarf around the neck, with one end longer than the other. Try it out! It looks cool!
Now let's see some instructions.
Techniques for Tying Scarfs
1
We begin with neck scarf and the first one in that category is artistic style of tying the scarf. To drape the scarf in an artistic style, wrap it around your neck first in a way that both the sides are even in length. Take the right side and make a loose knot in the middle on that side. Just thread the another side through the knot. At the end tighten the knot. If you are wearing it as an accessory for your dress, lower the knot on the scarf. With regards to coat, wear the scarf closer to your neck.

This one wins hands down in the list of scarf tying techniques. This is of course for girls. Styled the European way, this method goes something like this. First fold the scarf in half to create a fold at one end and having 2 loose ends in the other side. The middle of the scarf should now go around your neck, along with the 2 ends on the left side and a loop on the right side both of them facing forward. Finally, slip the 2 loose ends through the loop and tighten.
3
Exclusively for the guys, this one is not very complicated and really adds teeth to the tips. For this method, have full length of the scarf hanging around your neck with a side hanging down around a foot more than the other end. Follow that up by taking the long end crossing it over your neck. Last, but not the least, toss it behind you and let it go over the opposite shoulder.
In addition to these there is a whole gamut of ways in which you can use a scarf from your neck to waist and for summers to winters! This is where I wrap up! Take Care!
