Hair Thickening Vitamins for Women
Hair fall has become a common problem among many women today. One of the common problem related to this is the female pattern baldness. In which women start observing thinning of hair near the hair parting (mostly near the center parting and sometimes near the side parting). There are many treatments for hair thickening. However, many of these treatments involve use of chemicals. Instead you can reverse this process by providing your body some hair thickening vitamins, proteins, and other necessary nutrients.
What Vitamins Make Your Hair Grow Thicker
Apart from eating the foods which includes hair thickening vitamins one also needs proteins to keep the hair thick. Hence, you will see many hair care products which contain proteins. So, eat some rich sources of lean protein like turkey, chicken, and eggs.
Vitamin E: This is the best vitamin for hair growth. It prevents hair loss and thickens hair with regular use. It causes capillary growth which leads to hair growth. It also help to prevent split ends and dry hair. It is great for frizzy, dry, and limp hair. Some good food sources of vitamin E are almond, avocado, tofu, wheat germ, broccoli, and nuts.
Vitamin B: Vitamin B complex are important to prevent any skin and hair problems. Many women with hair loss have a vitamin B deficiency. So, one should eat vitamin B rich foods. Some food sources of vitamin B are green leafy vegetables, liver, chicken pork, milk, yogurt, and avocados.
Vitamin A: Vitamin A helps to smoothen the roots of the hair and keeps the hair well-moisturized. It is also a potent antioxidant. Some food sources of vitamin A are papaya, tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, egg yolk, green leafy vegetables, carrots, milk, and liver.
Vitamin C: Vitamin C tends to improve circulation of blood which helps to increase the growth of hair, which makes it an excellent hair vitamin. It also helps greatly to get rid of toxins in the body. Some food sources of vitamin C are citrus fruits, guavas, berries, kiwi fruit, bell peppers, and chillies.
How to Provide these Vitamins to the Hair
You can provide these vitamins to the hair in two ways. One is by consuming it and another is by topical application of them. So, eat vitamin rich foods and give a regular treat to your scalp too. Because, the hair absorb oil from the scalp in a wick like effect. Plus hair is a dead part of the body, so you really need to provide nourishment to the scalp rather than the hair.
Enrich Your Diet
Simply include foods rich in vitamin A, B, C, and E. The easiest way to do this is to eat an assortment of colored fruits and veggies. This will provide different types of vitamins to your body which will overtime lock hair fall. So, eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. Also, drink aloe vera juice every day as it contains amino acids which are necessary for hair health.
Scalp Massage
A mix of almond oil and castor oil in half and half proportion should be made. Warm this mix and apply it with a cotton ball on the scalp. Massage for 10-15 minutes nicely and then apply the rest of the oil to the hair ends. Then wear a hot towel and keep it for 10 minutes. Then wash your hair after 2-3 hours. If you have dandruff then scratch your scalp nicely when washing the hair, repeat if dandruff still seems to persist. Repeat this remedy 2-3 times a week.
Hair Mask
Another great way to provide the hair and scalp nourishment is by using hair mask. One simple way to make a mask is, mix half cup of mayonnaise and half cup of avocado crush. Add 2 spoons of olive oil to it and everything well. Apply it on the scalp and hair and tie your hair using a big hair clip. Leave the mask for 1 hour. Then wash your hair clean.
So, regularly follow the above hair care remedies and keep eating a healthy diet which is rich in the above mentioned foods. Keep doing this regularly, and after 4-6 months you will notice that your hair fall has stopped and the hair have become more fuller, and thicker.
