Mini Decorative Journal
Things Required
- 6-inch-square spiral notebook
- inch wide purple ribbon
- Ruler
- Scrapbook paper, silver with orange dots

- Adhesive-backed felt in light blue and orange
- Crafts knife

Place the 6 inch spiral notebook on the work table and open the first page. Draw a inch square at the two corners of the paper and cut out this squares. This should be done on all the pages of the journal with the help of a ruler and a crafts knife. Now tie the purple ribbon into bows around the cut layers at the two corners of the journal. To make this decorative jewelry box, first wrap the yellow wrapping paper all around the jewelry box and make sure that it is in place by applying glue. Next punch round holes on the silver wrapping paper in a uniform fashion. Wrap this silver wrapping paper around the jewelry box. This will give the jewelry box a yellow polka dotted pattern. Now draw a heart pattern on top of the jewelry box. Apply glue on the underside of the buttons and then stick them to the pattern that you have made. - Old snap back hair clips
- Glitter nail polish
- Clear nail polish
- Glitter powder
Paint the snap back hair clips with colored glitter nail polish. Let the nail paint dry in a cool dark place. Do not try to touch them at this point, or you will leave fingerprints on them. When the nail polish had dried, paint another coat of glitter nail polish over top. When the polish is still wet you can sprinkle some glitter powder over the clips for some extra bling. Finally paint a coat of clear nail varnish over the clips afterward to seal in the glitter.
