As starters are served prior to the main course of the meal, it is obvious that you choose the tastiest, mouth-watering recipes. Indeed, the best way to impress your guest and whet their appetite is by serving delicious appetizers. You can toss the avocados for mixing it evenly with the lime juice. Then add the remaining ingredients, viz. onion, garlic, cilantro, pepper and salt. Toss the mixture lightly and serve. Ground Chicken Meatball: Meatballs are my favorite appetizer recipe. You can make tasty meat ball appetizers for parties with easily available ingredients within no time. The following recipe is for making 30 meatballs:

Ingredients
1 pounds ground chicken (or pork)
cup minced scallions
1 clove garlic (crushed)
2 tablespoons peeled and grated ginger
teaspoon ground pepper
cup teriyaki sauce (thick) and marinade
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
White from 1 large egg
Salt as per taste

Procedure
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg white and stir in scallions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper and salt. Combine the mixture, until it is blended well. Add chicken (or pork) and mix thoroughly with your hand. Then, make 30 meatballs of about 1 inch size. Following this, heat a large nonstick frying pan over a medium flame and lightly spray with cooking spray. When the skillet is ready, add half of the meatballs and saute for about 5 minutes or until they turn firm and light brown.

In the meantime, preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the partly cooked meatballs in a baking sheet and brush them lightly with teriyaki sauce. Bake them for about 10 minutes and make sure that the meatballs are cooked properly. Transfer the meatballs into a platter and brush again with the remaining sauce. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve hot. Read more on meatball appetizer recipes.

Chicken Wings: Chicken recipes, be it dry or with gravy, are easy and taste delicious, which make them ideal for appetizers for parties. Following is a yummy chicken wings appetizer recipe:

Ingredients
2 dozen chicken wings (ready to cook)
1 cup butter (unsalted)
1 cups all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1 teaspoon grounded ginger
2 teaspoons salt
Pepper as per taste

Procedure
Take a large pie plate and combine the ingredients, viz. flour, ginger, sesame seeds, salt and pepper. You can heat a large, shallow pan and melt butter. Dip the chicken wings one at a time in the melted butter and transfer them in the flour mixture. Ensure that the chicken pieces are coated with the flour and sesame mixture from all sides. Preheat the oven to 355 degrees Fahrenheit. Now place the coated chicken wings in the same pan (making it one layer) to soak the remaining butter and bake for about an hour. To tenderize the baked chicken wings, use a broiler for five minutes. Garnish with seasoning and serve.
