Baby shower gift ideas are common as everyone gifts the new mother, either baby clothes, gifts relating to baby care or toys. This time, if you are going to attend a baby shower, why not gift the mother a well decorated money tree?
Directions
First of all, you need to purchase a potted plant, either a real or fake one. Then, either stick or tie currency notes to the branches and leaves of the plant. Preferably use smaller notes as you can fill up the tree with them and the money tree will have a complete and blossomed look. To make the tree look pretty and attractive, decorate it with ribbons and other decorations of your choice. Write a card, giving your best wishes to the new mother and stick it to the tree. If you want you can wrap the tree with a wrapping paper.
Birthday Tree
Birthdays are a wonderful occasion to gift a money tree. You too can come up with your own innovative ideas to decorate the tree, but if you are running out of them, we are here to help.
Directions
Purchase an artificial or real potted plant to begin with. If the person to be gifted is in his teens, you can tie 10 dollar bills all over the tree. Likewise if they are in their 20s or 30s you can use 20 and 30 dollar bills respectively and similarly for the other ages. You can tie a little card or a note to one of the leaves of the plant expressing your feelings and wishing the person on his birthday. Decorate the tree with ribbons and streamers to make it attractive.
Wedding Tree
A lot of people like to give money as wedding gifts. If you want to gift the couple money, there is no better way of doing it other than gifting them a money tree.
Directions
Tie 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollar bills on the purchased (real or artificial) tree. As it is a wedding gift fill up the tree with the notes and decorate it as much as you can. To add a personal touch, you can even tie some pictures of the couple on one or two of the branches. I am sure they will cherish this money tree of yours. Once you've finished decorating the tree, don't forget to add a card wishing them all the very best for their married life.
Fundraiser Tree
It can be used as a gift idea as well as a fundraiser or a winner's prize for any competition.
Directions
To make this tree as a fundraiser, all you have to do is keep a plant (real or fake) at your fundraising counter and whenever people come to donate money, tie or stick it up on the plant. If this is a prize for a competition, then the prize money can be tied up to the tree and given to the winner at the end of the event. Isn't this a great way of raising money as well as helping in charity?
