Nook Color Review
As far as the Nook Color review is concerned, nobody can deny the fact that Nook Color is sleek and compact. Even though it is a bit bulky, as compared to various other similar devices, this sleek and compact look does add to its appeal. As with any other device with a layer of glass cover, even Nook Color has reflection issues when used outdoors. The presence of backlight though makes it possible for you to use it in dark room. The ARM Cortex-A8 CPU does make this device fast, and that becomes obvious every time you try to turn a page. The 8 GB inbuilt memory that this device boasts of helps you store 6000 e-books at any given time, and if you want even more space the option of expanding is always there. The option of Internet access gives you direct access to the Internet using Wi-Fi technology. Nook Color supports a wide range of text formats, along with some graphic formats for still pictures, audio formats for music and video format for watching videos.
Other than these tech specs, Barnes and Noble e-book readers' trademark features such as 'LendMe' and 2 million titles available at their online store also need to be taken into consideration. While everything seems to be promising enough, the hefty price tag does come as a hindrance for this device especially when it comes to Kindle 3 vs Nook Color comparison. Even though other colored e-book readers are also quite expensive, e-ink readers such as the Kindle promise a pleasant experience at a reasonable price.
That being said, everything comes down to your individual preference at the end of the day. If you are looking for a stunning color e-book reader on which you can surf the Internet, access social networking websites, play games, listen to music, Barnes and Noble Nook Color is the name to look out for.
