Good Books for Women to Read

Coming across good books to read has never been easier. As a girl, I was fascinated by fairy tales (that's surprising!). Then I moved on to the more 'serious' and 'realistic' genre of teen mysteries (go Nancy Drew!). And then, I finally realized that there's much more to reading and books, than, and I say this with utmost respect for the writers, a bunch of teenagers trying to solve mysteries in their neighborhood. Call it the coming of age, or simply my ignorance being violently shattered by the introduction of brutal murder novels, I became an avid reader of crime and detective stories. Then, I chanced upon genres like fantasy, and travelogues. I found some of the best books in the form of intriguing short stories and biographies. I have thoroughly enjoyed, and still continue to enjoy, my journey into the world of different books. So, I would like to share with all you girls and women reading this, some good books that women can read on a holiday or when you need that much deserved break from the madness of your daily life!

Books Women can Enjoy

When it comes to books, my policy is, the more you're intrigued by the blurb, the less intriguing you'll find the actual book. But that's just me. Some of the most famous books have fascinating blurbs and reviews, but turned out to be rather disappointing when I read them. But this article is not about those. This article is about some books that women will find interesting at any given point. Some of these may be classics, and some may be more contemporary.
