It acts as a compressor and generates a high pressure. The pressurized stream of water is ejected through a hose that is connected to trigger gun which controls the water flow. The user can vary the intensity of the water stream. Concentrated stream of water in a continuous spray or in short bursts can be used for cleaning any surface. A pressurized stream of water ejected from the pressure washers can surely get rid of grime and dirt on the walls, pavements and vehicles.

Motor, hose, nozzle, unloader valves, detergent injector and trigger gun refer to the parts of a pressure washer pump. If the pressure washer has not been working properly, it's possible that some of the parts might have become worn out or damaged. If the pump is making a lot of noise or the pump seems to be running, but no water comes out, you need to get the pressure water pump repaired. The hose, nozzle and the valves are important parts of the pressure washer. Problems could arise if these get clogged. The trigger gun that regulates the flow of water can get damaged by the regular use of bleach and might need to be repaired. The motor is a very important part of the pressure washer. It is the engine that compresses the water and builds up the pressurized stream of water. If the hose, nozzle, valves or the trigger guns are working properly, then you must get the motor checked.
Pressure Washer Repair
The whole purpose of high pressure cleaning gets defeated if the water pressure is low. The low pressure could be caused due to a variety of reasons. The engine might have become slow. It could also be possible that the hose is damaged and the low pressure is caused due to a leakage of water. The unloader valve might need to be re-adjusted or replaced. Sometimes, the pump starts sucking too much air and as a result, it starts making too much noise. If that's the case, you must check suction manifold. The inlet pipe and inlet strainer must be checked for blockage. If you hear a loud knocking noise in the pump, you may need to replace the bearings.
Most of the time, pump failure is associated with lack of maintenance, clogged hoses, plugged filters and insufficient or dirty water. In case, hard water is being used, the nozzle and valves can get clogged due to mineral deposits. If the pump is running, but there is no water, it's possible that the pump is not primed. If there is low pressure at the nozzle, adjusting the unloader valve might help. If there is an oil leak in the crankshaft area, you might have to replace the crankshaft seal. A new packing might have to be installed if water is leaking from the manifold. Worn out pressure washer accessories could be responsible for pressure washer problems, therefore, if the washer is not working, don't assume that the pump needs to be repaired. It's possible that the hose, nozzle or trigger gun need to be repaired. If the pump seems to be making a lot of noise, check for broken bearings and connecting rods.
