How to Blow Dry Hair
How many of you actually know the right way of blow dry your hair straight and curly? Well, if you do know, congrats! However, there might be few of you who are not aware of the right technique which goes into blow drying the hair. Step 1
Well, blow drying hair isn't just drying your locks, but you need to start off with shampooing your hair with a good quality shampoo and then condition it as required. Use a shampoo which suits your hair texture and of course, use in appropriate amounts only. Wash your locks thoroughly with loads of water so that no traces of shampoo and conditioner are left behind.
Step 2
After doing with step 1, you need to start off with the main process. For this, you obviously need a good quality dryer so buy one. Next, pat you hair with a soft towel so as to squeeze as much of water as you can. Do not rub in any case, just pat.
Step 3
Take a large toothed comb and comb your hair. You can use little bit of detangler if you are finding it difficult. After combing, set the dryer to hot air, high speed and medium heat and make sure you are using a targeting nozzle. Now, take few strands of your hair and blow dry from root to the ends by holding the dryer 6 inches away from your hair in that direction. Then, take the next strands and repeat the process. Keep on blow drying your hair so that almost all your hair is dry.
Step 4
Simply use a hair straightening gel and apply onto your hair properly. Then with the help of a flat wide brush, comb your hair while blow drying. However, here, you need to partition your hair into 3-4 sections and blow dry each section separately. You can use hair clips to tie your hair temporarily. Alternatively, you can apply different hair gels or mousse of your choice. Round brush can also be used to make your hair fuller and increase their volume. If you desire curls, you can give the touch yourself.
Step 5
After you are done with all the sections, blow dry hair with cold air as well. Why? Hot air helps opening of the pores while cold air, locks them so they do not get spoiled later. Lastly, what you need to do is apply a hair spray to keep your hair set for longer time, particularly when you are going for a party or a wedding. Finally, comb your locks.
